Here is a question, submitted by 'anonymous';

'Help! A group of students keep bullying me and I don't know what to do! I'm afraid to go to a teacher because the bullies said that if I did, they would tell all my secrets to everyone.'

First of all, I think it is important to identify whether what they are doing to you is bullying or just normal teasing. Teasing means that he/she/they is/are making fun of you, or having a laugh at your expense, although sometimes, teasing could be a way of making friendship. But if the horrible teasing continues, this issue has turned into bullying. One way to deal with teasing is to change the topic of the conversation, laugh as if what they said was a joke, or calmly tell them to leave you alone. If however, the teasing doesn't stop and it turns into bullying, you have to stand up confidently for yourself. You can even deal with it the same way as you do with teasing. If that doesn't work, it is certainly time to tell a teacher or a trusted adult, even if they blackmail or threaten you not to.
